I visited the Tate Liverpool for the first time two days ago, to see the Klimt exhibition and it really blew me away. Even without all the bits and pieces from the time period and the Viennese Secession, Klimt's work by itself is stunning. The size, the use of gold is yummy. I think you should all go and see it if you haven't already! Very inspirational too.
Any thoughts while I'm on it... I'm reading Clive Cussler's Dirk Pitt novel 'Sahara' at the moment (I love them) and am shocked at how awful the film was by comparison. Does anyone have any films that they actually thought were better than the movie? If so, why? I might start a forum chatter on the topic... thanks!
